I'm just off to work after two weeks off. I've been a member for ages and ages but haven't had the confidence to post until the last couple of weeks. Now I'm addicted...sigh...well at least it's fun and I learn something new every time I come here.

Must avoid the temptation to muck around with the registry on my office 'puter to foil the monitoring software, just so I can go onto the DU.

the haggis is lovely, I don't believe in Nessie though she's good for the tourist industry, I lasted two hours before checking in and my clan tartan is mostly red though the hunting variety contains blues and brown.

I'm in a very nice wee town that is about 850 years old. I drive 10 miles and there are more sheep and deer than people. Just love it. As for the heritage bit, many of you people are descended from Scottish forebears.

I know I'm partisan but this is a lovely place to live. Please visit us; you'll receive a warm welcome.
