12. Fractured Flickers!
A Jay Ward production, if I recall, sometime between "Bullwinkle" and "George Of The Jungle". Very funny.

22. Yep - around 1963-64 I think
Dubbed plots and voices to old silent films.

Great grandfather to Woody Allen's "What's Up Tiger Lily?"and MST3K.

Hilarious stuff - think they only made one season's worth.

7. I'd add...

Dobie Gillis. Don't laugh (well, do laugh)! It was rerun on some cable station in the 1980s, and I found it frequently hysterical.

And of course, it gave early employment to Tuesday Weld and Warren Beatty!

And I'd also add The Bob Newhart Show (the Chicago one) and Newhart (the Vermont Larry, Darryl and Darryl one). The last episode of that was one of the funniest shows I've ever seen (along with the first episode of WKRP in Cincinnati).

21. Agreed that the final of Newhart II was the best
I loved both Newharts. I will leave it at that as I have way to many others to choose from.

8. My List:

  • Sex and the City - I suppose you have to be a 30 something female to appreciate this show but I can identify with all of the characters.
  • Curb Your Enthusian - Most creative show on TV since there is no script to the show. They create an outline for the show and sometimes they toss in a surpise or 2. THe fact that Larry David is the best Bald Asshole (I love that episode) makes this show work like a charm!
  • MASH - But only before Larry Burns left the show
  • Dream On - Another great HBO classic about a dreamer who interjects old tv shows/movies into his real life world
  • The Simpons - 15 years and still going strong

10. Never really thought about it but I've always enjoyed:
Mary Tyler Moore (the classic on my list)
Frasier (the current one on my list)
Simpsons (the current classic on my list)
Laverne & Shirley (the silly one on my list)
Family Ties (the, "they don't write 'em like they used to" one on my list - damn that was some great writing. Also gotta love the Liberal Parents vs the Repuke Michael J Fox character set up)

puts it at the top of my list. The best double-take EVER. EVER!
