Get ready Santa - at long last my fireplace is cranked up
Ever since I bought my house we haven't been able to use the fireplace. The ONE time we tried the house filled with smoke.

Last night I discovered the damper was INCORRECTLT installed so the instructions to open it actually CLOSE it, and the instructions to close it actually OPEN it.

So for three years I've had the damper open, except for that one night we tried to use it and filled the god damn house with smoke!
