I read some article decrying how actresses have to do that to get respect in Hollywood or some such, and her baring all was the starting point.

But Oscar sure ain't no guarantee of future success. Halle Berry, case in point. She's incredibly gorgeous, but for some reason I have zero desire to watch her in Catwoman. Maybe because she KNOWS she's all that.

And has Nicholas Cage done anything good since winning an Oscar for Leaving Las Vegas?

I think shes a really great young actress and she'll be around for a long time. She is totally gorgeous, and she's really smart too! She just graduated from Harvard with a degree in psychology. :)

Which is a good thing, by the way. She's on the cover of this month's "Elle" magazine and looks very pretty. She seems quite normal, intelligent. Was rather dim on TDS, but she could be shy... or has a raging crush on Jon which makes it hard to speak intelligently when near him. :shrug:
