5. Mom's policy was I had to try everything one, then I didn't have to eat it |
|
For some reason, I didn't mind eating them then, now I love them.

3. Exactly, that's how I do them. The trick is to not overcook them. |
|
I feel über-healthy after eating a bunch. It's a good feeling, and it compensates a bit for my smoking.

but i didn't eat any non-starch veggies until after high school and my mom never made me.
my mom couldn't bring herself to make me eat veggies because her dad use to threaten that men in white coats would come and take her away to the home for bad girls if she didn't eat hers. he even dressed up as as the man and scared the shit out of her once.

Brussel sprouts? Ewwwwww!
I tried one once. Tasted like a little, nasty, old, and moldy cabbage.

Over-cooked? Sell 'em to the Israelis as a new weapon.
They're delicate.
