Let them do the flaming; you do the alerting.

Some tips:

- Ask for sources. More often than not they'l link some obvious RW propaganda like newsmax or something of the sort.
- When they evade questions, repeat them again and again, and saay "you're not answering"
- Call out misrepresentations of other people's writings, and explain why it is so.
- When I see an obvious troll post AND a low post count (low post counts by themselves should never be considered damning), I reply, "Enjoy your extremely short stay." Sometimes you hit a short fuse (like I did in this case).
- If you see an exceptionally boneheaded post in one thread, chances are there'll be exceptionally boneheaded posts in others. Search by author.
- Never alert wantonly. Alert according to the rules.
