19. Babelfish horrifying mangles German

As well as other languages, but I find that it destroys German because of its complicated grammar. It doesn't do a very good job with French either, I hear.

You're much better off finding someone who speaks German fluently than relying on Babelfish.

I am hoping I can get some people from Germany to put together a little care package or two for our German exchange student, whose package from her family got a little bit ruined today. She is feeling upset, and I think that if she saw some German postmarkings on some packages, she would feel better.
