Yay Yay Yay!!! I just got off the phone with him!

My great grandafther came from a family of 10 kids, who were spread all over the U.S and Canada when they died, and I have now tracked down descendants of 7 of them! I rule!

Anyone wanting some extra genealogy help, my cousin in Illinois just told me about a wonderful search tool called www.godfrey.org this weekend when we met in person for the first time.

You ask them to make you a Godfrey scholar, pay $35.00, and you have access to all sorts of wonderful information on their database, including newspaper archives, the Mormon HQ in Utah, etc.

I am psyched! This is going to be a big weekend of genealogizing. I'd set it aside while I was trying to save the world, but now I REALLY want to get back into it.

Many people only get interested in geneology when they're retired. Good to start early.
