Herobuilders.com has marketed 12-inch tall dolls saluting former body builder and current California Republican gubernatorial recall candidate Arnold Schwarzenegger. Emil Vicale, president of the Danbury, Conn., company, said Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2003, 'Arnold is doing all right. It's been pretty big.' taking silly and mildly obscene pictures with Barbie(s), Ken or, in my case, Xena and Ares. They used to make postcards of Barbie, Ken and GI Joe in interesting positions.

I was going to do an X-mas card once, if I could find a Santa suit for Ken. Barbie was going to be laying on the ground, with Xena standing over her, holding her sword at Barbie's throat. Xena's other arm would be around Ken's waist and they'd have a bag of gifts or something. I did have them posed like that in my guest room for a while, just with Barbie in a bride's dress and Ken in a tux, but then my sister had kids and we didn't think it was appropriate for them to see them like that.
