I dated a podiatrist once, he said regular use of soap and water as well as wearing clean socks takes care of the problem. He was right.

She should also make sure her feet are dry before she puts them in her shoes. The same shoes that can't be worn with socks shouldn't be worn every day.

12. I got in trouble for taking my shoes off during a flight once.

I get nervous on planes after having a horrible panic attack during a flight several years ago. So now when I fly I always pre-medicate with Xanax or something similar.

Anyway, I was on a long flight from CA back to MD and I slipped my sneakers off to be more comfortable and then I pretty much zonked out. Well, I woke up kind of dazed (from the meds) and started walking to the back of the plane to go potty, when this flight attendant yelled real snotty like: "Ma'am, ma'am, please return to your seat and put on your shoes. It is against regulations to be about the cabin without your shoes on."

Well I was embarrassed, because everyone was staring at me, and I actually didn't realize I was just wearing my socks (the meds, you know). I stumbled back to my seat, put on my shoes, and then went to go potty.

I have always wondered about this regulation. As if having my shoes on would help me survive a plane crash or something. I can hear the crash scene investigators saying: "Well look at this body, if she had only been wearing her shoes, she would be alive now"

Oh and by the way, my feet did not stink.
