1. A very good chance, but different reason...
the Diebold guarantee. I think that in a fair election, he'd lose in a landslide. But with BBV helping him, it'll be a photo finish, with * having a chance of pulling it off.

3. I voted a "slight chance" simply because Gore either won or
lost by a very small margin and most people seem to be looking for alternatives for Bush right now. Honestly, I think the smartest thing the Repubs could do is to have Bush drop out early next year and have a recently-annoited political icon like Giulaini take his place.

I honestly think he'd have a better shot than Bush.

4. Hmmm
I smell blood in the water, since certain members of Congress have re-discovered their testicles...

5. Another 9/11 would mean he is toast
People rallied around the empty suit following 9/11 and he promised to get the turrists "dead or alive" we've invaded 2 countries, ripped up the bill of rights, pissed away the surplus, alienated the rest of the world etc. etc. If another major attack come people will (finally) start to question whether Smirk knows what he is doing and will conclude that he doesn't (duh)

Another 9/11 means Smirk is toast. Big time.

9. Have to agree
"Homeland Insecurity" is all Bush* has goign for himself. He'd really blow it if he had another MIHOP, not even this trusting group of J-Lo and Ben watchers woudl give him a pass for another 9-11.

10. It might depend on the situation...
but it does seem less and less likely that a terrorist attack would be in his favor politically. THe fact that more and more American troops are dying overseas everyday certainly isn't helping him.

6. You're assuming a fair and honest election.
Don't ever forget, that we had a coup in 2000, never mind that there were no tanks in the streets and no blood was shed. But nonetheless, a coup, and those people will do anything at all to stay in power.

However, if by some miracle people actually get to vote freely and those votes are accurately counted, then Bush will lose.

7. BBV
How can anyone stand a chance of winning with our election fraud that is going to go off big time in 2004.

8. Too early to tell
Like posters above mentioned, there's so many factors and another terrorist attack or the death of Raygun might put him back on top.

Also, there's still over a year. I'm sure anything can happen. Both sides (Dems and Republicans) are gathering data to use against one another before the election.

11. I agree: we simply do not know, yet.
Virtually everything is still in play. Anything could happen.
