OK, who had a Chevy Citation?
Mine was a piece of shit. The engine started dying at the most inopportune moment. The mechanic's judgment was that I was lucky the damned thing did't catch fire, because the radiator was backing up into the crankcase and gas was leaking out of the engine block. I got $200 for the damned usable parts.

3. Yep, had one
I got 154k out of mine, probably becuase I bought it from an old retiree who babied it like it was Rolls Royce. It looked as good the day I bought it from him as the day it did when he drove if off the floor 77k earlier.

The engine on mine finally went one hot Texas day on a crowded freeway. I was in the left hand lane, no shoulder, only cement barricade - I managed to find a hole 5 lanes wide and got it to the right side shoulder. I got 250$ for mine at auction - my biggest regret was that it had a full tank of gas. And yes, it was always a piece of shit.

5. The WORST CAR ever made!
Boyfriend's mother had one. The lining, no matter how many times it was fixed, kept falling down and we would ride in it with the stupid headliner blowing in the wind (A/C kept breaking) around our heads.

Then , for some reason, you could start the car without the key. Just turn the thingy and it would start. This was circa 1986-87.

Friend was also cursed with this car from Hell. NEVER went a month without a problem. And it rusted out, and she bought it new. Also an 1980's car.

I never met a Citation owner without a story to tell about it.

made my '74 Dodge Dart look like a freakin' great car...
