In the weight room today (semi rant)

Once a week we have to go into the fitness center for PE.

First of all, they have got to stop putting up those motivational posters. Not just in the fitness center, but EVERYWHERE in the school. Good lord. They have this one that's supposed to convince the jocks to "Train like a madman." Now, I've seen some pretty crappy posters in my day, but this one TOOK THE CAKE. It was these two wrestlers and one has this real tough look on his face, his jaw his clenched, his eyes are popping, you'd think he's constipated or something. But that wasn't the worst of it. He was grabbing the other dude by the waist and, well, let's just say I really wish that you could this other dude's face, if you know what I mean, cuz he sorta had a wedgie thing going on and...*shudder*. Well, let's just say the sight would've been enough to turn me into a lesbian. (Then I saw my friends picture of Johnny Depp on her notebook :loveya: Johnny Depp is the hottest old guy EVER!!)

Anyway, so me and my friend get started and my neocon, sadistic teacher turns Faux News on the TV. x( So, to get back at him, while I'm spotting my friend on the bench press, i tell her, "Keep going Allie! Justa little more weight lifting and you'll be ready to run for governor of CA!" :silly:

I hate the weight room too. When I had gym last year, they'd always put KQRS on in the morning...god, I hate Tom Bernard SOOOOOO much...but there was little I could do about that. That, and getting up at 6:30 and 2 hours later lifting weights really just doesn't work out for me.

Edit: Oh, how was my day? Kinda...so-so, I guess....
