Ladies and guys, what is your favorite perfume on women?

I rarely wear it, but I was thinking about shopping around for a new, light scent.

I hate musky stuff, but I love the scent of gardenias. Any advice? What's your favorite, signature scent?

I haven't gotten it in a while.

Perry Ellis makes some terrific scents that you might like.

Also, don't remember if it was Clinique's Happy or one of their others that is really great.

But, if you ever change your mind on the musky scents, you have to try the original Fendi. It is awesome. I get the most compliments every time I wear it. Some years ago, a roommate got so annoyed, she finally started wearing it herself!!

7. Happy heart was the only perfume I got compliments wearing.

I got a LOT of compliments whenever I wore Happy heart.

Liked the original Happy too, but it's more citrusy I think, and no compliments, LOL.

All depends on your own chemistry I think.

18. Clinique--First they made Happy, then they made Happy Heart.

Someone else mentioned Clinique's Aromatics Elixir (on edit--and someone just mentioned Wrappings by Clinique!) too...maybe that whole line is worth giving a try...I've been looking for a new perfume too, I think Clinique will be my first stop.

Now, I hope you don't get there and think Happy Heart smells like butt!! :silly:

If you go for light, flowery fragrances, theirs are pretty good. I wear their Rosewater line and get a lot of compliments. (For the evening, I sometimes wear a slightly more intense Jean Paul Gaultier which I also have gotten compliments on.)

I noticed they do have a gardenia scent, so it might be worth checking out. :)

I love this stuff. I hadn't worn perfume for ten years when my husband bought me this for my birthday last year. It's great, not too heavy (unless, of course, you marinate in it, which I strongly advise against).

30. Surprisingly, it's very light...

(At least on me.) It isn't a super-heavy Gardenia scent, either; it's more spicy floral if that makes sense. Very unusual and people always ask me what it is.

28. I hate perfume.

It stinks and tastes like shit. (No, I don't drink it smart-asses, I'm talking about kissing and licking areas where it's applied.) I also hate makeup and hairspray. Shave and wear deodorant and you're good to go with me.

29. The only scent I ever wear

is rose oil. It's a great spirit lifter, and is said in the aromatherapy sphere to be a cure for depression. I haven't had to wear it for awhile, and then a couple of weeks after Nov. 2, I bought some. It's been very soothing.

I don't like "perfumes" per se. But maybe I haven't smelled the really expensive stuff on someone. Most women seem to wear the alcohol-based colognes, and those all smell the same to me. Bad.
