I hope they make a second one(Travolta wants to). For me the difference is bigger. Pulp Fiction is the classic Cult movie, and it is the best one.

I have heard they are planing a prequel to explain how things started. They may have someone else play his role and he will be play something else. I just heard that during one of the Film Festivals he discussed making another movie, but with a much larger budget.

I don't think it would have as the original one, because you got more for your dollar then, it might be like Dr. Strangelove where it is filmed in 3 locations. But it would still be quite a project.

"I've got to like turn off now, from the whole kung-fu, spaghetti western homage I've been doing with Kill Bill and get back the one basic underlying story, alright. Kill Bill is something I think a lot of people will enjoy, alright, but not in the same way as say Pulp Fiction. Kill Bill has a story, but it's told different than my other films. He's apparently working on a WWII movie somewhere in here, too, so who knows?

but I fear that he lost it several years ago. A couple of nights ago, I watched "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore" which was essentially a "Marty needs a paycheck" movie, and its artistry outclasses his output of the past decade or so. His current movies look and feel just like those of everyone else. Granted, he pioneered so many of the techniques and tricks, but still...

What a puzzler you are D_S. This is like choosing between fillet and porterhouse.

Ray Liota was so brilliant, particularly when he was all coked up running around Queens at the end. That was TOO REAL. And, OMf'ing god, Joe Pecci shooting a guy in the trunk of a car and then getting shot when he thought he was made. The film was based on real events and it was just perfect from start to finish.

Pulp Fiction, yikes. What a difficult choice.

I like Goodfellas quite a bit, but you just can't beat Pulp Fiction when it comes to memorable dialogue.

15. I loved PULP FICTION, but the storylines were awfully contrived.

As such, I voted for GOODFELLAS.

I never get tired of watching it. Recently my husband asked me to pick up some show polish for him. When I got home, I gave him the bag and said "Now go get your shine box!" We both laughed really hard. And we always do the "Funny how" thing. LOL

Although I did enjoy DeNiro's body language and Lorraine Bracco with the gun in her panties in "Goodfellas"

19. Goodfellas, and not just because I met Frank Vincent (the guy in the

trunk of the car that Pesci and de niro bury, and then dig up and rebury..)
he actually stopped by my job right after filming the scene in the bar when he gets killed. i heard him say he spent all day on the floor getting kicked by booby and joe. i had no idea!!!
he was dating my boss and she never made much of his career back then. when it came out, i was like holy shit! the story all turns on frank being killed!

22. yes, batts! I met the actor, Frank Vincent... I recognised him from

"Do the Right Thing" - he was the guy in the vintage convertible asking the kids no to spray him with the hydrant. he was also in the sopranos and casino.
him and pesci used to do a club act together in the 60's- 70's jazz + comedy!
my boss acted like he was a loser... but she married him and stopped working!! and i still go to the same chiropractor as them. he just filmed a commercial in ireland! he is a really charming guy. it was so cool to know i met him the day pesci killed him in what turned out to be my fave movie of all time.

24. No contest - Goodfellas! Watched PF last year after a long time

and it just didn't hold up. GF is timeless.
