This is getting incredibly fatuous... :D

2. Why no choice for simultaneous? :)

I view this much like my theory of gluing buttered toast to a cats back.

Both would create an anti-gravity environment. The simultaneous gaseous expulsons would cause a human to hover, whereas cats always land on their feet, and buttered toast always lands buttered side down, so if you stick buttered toast on a cats back and drop the cat, logic tells us that the cat would hover.

I've been working on developing an engine using this theory, but the cat keeps twisting around and licking the butter off the toast.

3. If you do both at the same time, with sufficient force

it turns the human body inside out. Which would be something like a big person-shaped mass of alimentary canal interior. Not pretty.

4. When my son was very young

he couldn't keep his body functions straight, so...
he would announce them loudly as having just:

1: Farted in his mouth
2: Burped in his pants

Needless to say, he was quite the entertainer.

5. Why belching of course

I had a belching contest yesterday with my 5 year old nephew. Needless to say, he thinks his Aunt Rubyduby is the coolest person in the world.


On edit: it was just the two of us in the car, but my family did hear about it later. They think we're both gross, but they frowned on me for some reason. :shrug:
