Interesting talk I had with my dentist today

He knows I am interested in politics and stuff, and Ive had him my whole life as my dentist. He was telling me how things go in cycles which they do politically, and that he thinks a democrat will win in '08. He didn't name any names, but he thinks the people of this country could wake up very soon. Today also marked my last day having him since he only does kids, and since I am 17 now, I got a new dentist who I don't even know, shame because I really liked Doc Averne, and he was always a nice guy to talk to and always very friendly and understanding.

1. I hope he's right.

I keep hearing about how Karl Rove has a dream of making the Republican Party the majority party in this country...permanently. I hope the American people ultimately resist that.

I'm very pessismistic right now...I put up a rambling post about the state of the country last night (I shouldn't be in a darkened room, by myself, giving voice to my fears...it brings out such a sadness in me). I just hope Dr. Averne is right.
