Context: Milo is running down the game plan for the debate. Usual stuff. Mudslinging, personal attacks, etc.

A lone voice shouts from the back "ISSUES!".

Last panel has Opus tied upside-down to a tree bearing a sign saying "Blasphemer".

All he can say is "MMPH...". So classic, I cut it out, and still have the yellowed newsprint copy taped to my workplace door.

"Let 'em wonder." --Tess Turbo, commenting on whether or not her audience can sense her hidden, sensitive side. Opus, trying to mimic her onstage gyrations, punctuates it with an "Oof!"

"Someone get Cher out of the mayonaise!"--Opus, talking in his sleep

"Well, YOU can just rock me to sleep tonight!"--Binkley, responding to Milo's query as to whether or not Adam and Eve had navels

"Neither will God, Ma."--Steve, responding to his mother's revelation that she's accidentally married someone else while still being married to Steve's father, whom she thinks "won't be very happy about this."

"Hold it girls--contradiction city."--Steve's sister, sorrority girl extreme, jailed during a political demonstration.

13. Binkley reading the paper...

Starts choking and gagging, Milo gives him the Heimlech and Binkley shouts out, "The Nicaraguan rebels are the moral equivalant of our founding fathers! Star Wars will work! The president doesn't use grecian formula 44!" then says "I... I just couldn't swallow it all."

With just a few minor changes that's pretty much how I feel everyday.
