Letterman's Top 10 from last night - another great Shrub bash
In case you missed it, he was on a roll last night. Showed 3 clips of Shrub making an ass of himself and topped it off with a great Top 10.

Note: #10 received only a chuckle. Maybe "rebuilding Iraq" equates 87 Billion $$$ (+) in people's minds now and they realize they are going to pay for it

Top Ten Surprises In President Bush's Address To The United Nations

10. Admitted taking longer than expected to mismanage the rebuilding of Iraq

9. President Bush wearing "Kucinich in 2004" campaign button

8. Kept referring to the United Nations as the International House of Pancakes

7. He formally surrendered to North Korea

6. After a few remarks, turned it over to Dr. Phil who discussed weight loss

5. Labeling Jim Belushi as a member of the "Axis of Evil"

4. Usual smug smirk even smugger and smirkier

3. His opening act: Beyonce, with very special guest Jay-Z

2. "Speech" was nothing more than recipe for Laura's Quick 'N' Easy Chicken-Fried Steak

1. The part where he screamed, "Save us, Schwarzenegger!"

That Dave really "thinks the world" of Dub.:eyes:

Looooved that "Right hand knowing what the left hand is doing" one...that was worth the wait; that one, and the lawn-walk-to-chopper spit move!:D

He needs to put the "Bush Moments" clip collection out on VHS and DVD...sure to become CBS' new most-requested tape!:7

B-)

2. Oh yeah!
I had heard about the right hand/left hand thing here at DU the day before. So glad he re-ran the clip last night! I almost spit out my drink - lol.

Yeah- that lawn spit - so presidential. No wonder the rest of the world thinks we're a bunch of Jerry Springer audience members.

18. Until I came to college
Edited on Wed Sep-24-03 12:06 PM by Padraig18
I grew up in Ireland and then in Chicago. Until I moved downstate to attend college, I had never eaten chicken-fried steak (with gravy, mashed potatoes and corn/green beans, of course). All I can say is that I was deprived as a child! YUMM! *drool* :)

15. I didn't see this..please explain it
I don't have cable and can hardly stand watching TV, so I'm always missing the idiot in action.

Which is 99% of the time a good thing

17. its a clip of a shrub speacH
and the gist is this.

Shrub is standing behind the podium talking and he says "the right hand needs to help the left hand" but when he said right hand he held up his left and when he said left, well you can guess which hand he rose.

Hysterical laughter broke out in the Audience. it was part of his "George Bush jokes that werent intended to be Jokes" skit that he is doing regularly.
