I watched "I, Robot" last night

I thought "I, Robot" was an Asimov book. :shrug:

The movie (I haven't seen it yet) was, to my understanding, very loosely based on the book.

The screenwriters and director were inspired by the title and the cover art. They never read the book it might get in the way of their creative thinking.

but the whole "Kilroy Was Here" albom was originally conceived to be the score for a full-length feature film about a renegade rocker ("Kilroy") infiltrating and exposing the fascist intentions of a PMRC-esque anti-rock coalition.

In the story, "Kilroy" sneaks into the mansion of the Pat Robertson-esque leader's estate by wearing a hollowed-out "Robato", a type of Japanese-manufactured servant robot.

The film was never made.

It's based very loosely on the books, though. But the pacing and special effects were awesome.

Although I have not read the book. Some of the character development was a little shabby but overall I liked it.:thumbsup:
