"If you're rich, I'm single!"
Saw this bumper sticker on my way into work this morning, and thought all you fellow single gals would get a kick out of it! Of course, that's not what we REALLY want, is it gals, we want intelligence and consideration and sensitivity and kindness and romance and politically progressive and ______________(insert your own adjective here).

Then again, he who says money can't buy happiness just doesn't know where to shop!

I'm feeling wickedly obnoxious this morning, as you can tell!

5. Depends on which spirit you like,
Jack Daniels, Miller Lite, Asti and Spumante, etc., etc.? NO Ripple wine, Arlo Guthrie notwithstanding!

6. Well, depends on what kind of car you drive and
what kind of house you live in! Oooohhh, I'm bad today, aren't I, lol! That's what happens when you get lost in an unfamiliar suburb and wind up in a neighborhood with million-dollar homes the likes of which you've never seen before, I guess!

12. You believed the hype on that globalrichlist site, didn't you?
Their numbers were so, so wrong it makes me sick.

Then again, prog girls don't care about how much money you make...I make more $ than my fiance! :)

3. can you say 'masculine'?
Edited on Thu Sep-25-03 11:17 AM by Kamika
I find alot of guys seem to forgotten how to actually be masculine. Or they aren't confident in themselves

All those little things like bring us flowers, hold up doors, paying for our dinner and such.

4. Flowers!
God, I can't remember the last time someone sent my flowers, and I love getting them, too! My boss is always sending his wife flowers, and I sometimes want to scream, "hey, what about me?" Well, not really, but you know what I mean!

9. buying flowers is masculine? first time i've heard it called that.
Edited on Thu Sep-25-03 11:32 AM by enki23
the word masculine, as i've generally seen it used, also seems to include things like:

lots of hair (chest, back, ass, etc.)
strength (varies)
heavy drinking (general) (see: physicality, anti-intellectualism, "trash talkig", political conservatism)
beer drinking (distended bellies see: heavy drinking (general))
"manly scent" (cleanliness is next to femininity)
loud voices (speak loudly, and pretend you carry a big dick see: beer drinking)
public proclamations about alleged size of own genitalia (see: loud voices)
"trash talking" (being loudmouthed assholes see: loud voices)
physicality (hitting hings/people)
political conservatism (duh see: anti-intellectualism)
anti-intellectualism (grunting a lot see: political conservatism)
playing "dress up" with expensive clothing associated with mythologized cowherds (oddly, no pig farmer costumes)

;-)

13. Sorry Liberal...
I fail on two counts....

I'm not rich, and,

I am faithfully married.

I'm sure you have so many good qualities that a perfectly eligible candidate will be happy to find you!

29 years without falling off the "fidelity wagon"...(but I guess I did drag my feet once or twice.....)
