I'm working nights, but doing my orientation this month for my new job on days. There's 6 inches out there, school is canceled for the kids, and there's no way I'm going to make it in. Oh well.

2. I don't get it

I lived in Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois and I don't remember ONE SINGLE F***ING "SNOW DAY". Not ONE!!!!!

3. Yeah, I grew up in Nebraska.

It had to be a dang blizzard before we got one. Here in CT, 2-3 inches shuts everything down it seems. Kind of hard for working parents.
