It is so cheesy, but there are three Christmas specials on it.
The first one is from '72 with guest William (Cannon) Conrad The second one is from '73 with Conrad again The third is from '76--after they divorced but came back to do another series with guest Bernadette Peters and Shields and Yarnell.
Chastity is in each one. Sonny sings badly. Cher sings mediocre--I think she became a better singer after leaving Son. William Conrad ends the second special well by reciting the famous, "Yes, Virginia there really is a Santa Claus" story. Bernadette Peters sings well and is easy on the eyes (as is Cher). We had a Xmas party at my house and we had a hoot watching and laughing at this. But the high point was show #2 which had a truly good "pro-peace" attacking war and war makers including Nixon and Kissinger! They couldn't put anything like that on network TV today.
The final show was sad becuz it is after their divorce and in one scene Cher is singing to her baby Elijia Blue. Sonny does a song with Chastity. He seemed like a good father. The end is depressing as Sonny and Cher with Chas in between them sing "I got you Babe" and Son can't even look at Cher like they used to when singing it. In fact, he looks downright angry.
