42. We'll be there again, for sure

Hopefully, we'll all miss the monsoon. That's one of the shortest rides I do, but definitely the most fun.

I'm going to ride my bike along the Wisconsin River this year. It's a smaller ride, participantwise, than RAGBRAI, but about the same amount of miles. It's also a couple of weeks earlier, so I definitely will need to be cranking out the training miles in April and May.

But the stuff in my panniers stayed dry. Imagine that! Some stuff, that ScotchGuard...I enjoyed that ride and was glad we completed it before the sky opened up.

I have to get going earlier this year. first 200 Km Brevet is on 4-30 next year, so I need to hit the road early in March.

Need to get back on the hamster wheel, too, but I crashed going across campus 2 weeks ago and it still hurts to ride...
