Passport Question
My husband is leaving in the morning for Germany. I was looking at his passport and noticed it has expired.

Any ideas??

Help, please.

6. hate to say it--but your hubbie messed up

You can't renew a passport at the airport. The quickest way for him to renew is to go the passport office in whichever large city is closest to you. He'll probably have to spend an entire day in line. Otherwise, he has to renew by mail, which takes 3--6 weeks.

On edit: Before 9/11 you used to be able to enter Canada with an expired passport (in fact, with no passport at all). But that's all over. Your husband won't even be allowed to board the plane.
