Dental advice needed! I lost a crown/cap |
|
I swallowed it. I am determined to have it back. How long must I wait? When might I see it again?

4. Oi. At least you're not trying to change your major in College! |
|
We might be able to help you!
My guess is that you're looking at about an eight hour wait. Try not to eat anything stinky. Hit the Cheerios and the butterscotch pudding, and you'll probably be ok.
Are you going to tell your dentist how you found your crown?

10. Ok, in that case, if I were you, I'd eat a can of "indicator corn" |
|
and chase it with some prunes and lots of water. Once you've worked your way through that, if if doesn't show up, you can pretty much assume that it's either stuck someplace or you somehow missed it.

16. Wow, I would not have made that choice, but to each his own. |
|
But then, perhaps the crown will stand out in contrast to the beet dye. I do not envy you this task!

"Try not to eat anything stinky"
It all ends up that way, darnit.
Yes. I'll tell dentist where I found it (IF please please, I do).
If I see that bicuspid again, I will give it such a washing!

It will likely be recovered and is "cost effective if you don't mind the indgnity". Plus, you will want to know it came out--if not, get an xray to be sure it isn't lodged somewhere dangerous. good luck.

I'll continue my brown quest. Indignity is an understatement.
That tooth was rather expensive. I do not want to lose it.

12. I'm not going to laugh at you because it could happen to me... |
|
I will just smile and hope that the dentist's wife's advice is the proper method to follow. Also, I really hope that you find it and I mean that. Please forgive me for seeing humor in this. Maybe you will be able to do so at a much later date.
