contradicts the "everybody smoke pot" claim. They are both there...the King Lear scene begins right at the very end of the song, right as it fades out completely. You can clearly hear, "O untimely death!" from the scene. The rest you have to listen more closely for.

The "smoke pot! smoke pot! everybody smoke pot" chorus begins early on after the final "goo goo g'joob." By the way, I've heard that instead of "everybody smoke pot" the chorus us actually saying: "Ompa ompa everybody's got one."

Lennon was so whacked on LSD, who knows what the hell is going on in that song. :evilgrin:
