Any crime/mystery buffs? What's the device/machine they use these

days to detect blood? I've seen it done on Law and order, and even a special about lizzie Borden. It's some sort of light that can detect blood that doesn't appear to the human eye. It shows up as blue when the light or whatever it is is used on it. Does anyone have a clue as to what I'm talking about? I'm wondering what the name or process is called!

then it's a typical UV reaction.

They spray the area with the chemical, and this light will show the fluids.

I'm sorry. I was kidding.
I think the person up there got it. It is just a "black light" that detects the luminal(sp?) spray that has some sort of chemical reaction with blood.
