Who else here shaves with a brush and mug?

1. I shave in the shower. No mug and brush.

I've heard that is a good way to wake up the ol' beard for a closer shave, but I've never tried it.

6. Haven't shaved since '89

Trimmed it all a bit once in 1998 for a wedding.

Had to evict a family of sparrows from it last year...

Never felt it was as close a shave, but it was enjoyable. I still have my Burma Shave soap and brush just in case I feel the tug of nostalgia again.

Much more environmentally friendly than those earth-destroying cans, and more enjoyable, and a HELL OF A LOT cheaper.

And it's ritualistically wonderful and calming.

13. I use a brush sometimes, but no mug

I use stuff from a tube called Kiss My Face. I get it at London Drugs. Try it, it's great. I mostly use Foamy with a Conair Hot Lather Machine. Mmmmmmmmm. If I'm lazy or in a hurry, I use an electric.
