Here's the scoop: A marketing company called me last week and asked if I would watch a tape on December 28th, which was a TV pilot. Then give them my opinions on December 29. They asked me like three times if I could do this, I said yes. I'm easy, was curious about any new tv shows, and there is a possibility of a 'prize'.
So I got the tape yesterday, and then my husband wants to go out, and we were out late.
Today they called. I said please call back in an hour. I followed their instructions, completing a marketing questionaire about brands I prefer. Then I watched the tv show, which, it turns out, was a VERY old pilot called "Dads" which I had actually seen many many years ago. So the pilot part is just garbage, not what they are after. Then, I fill out the second marketing questionnaire, also a list of products, but a bit shorter, and two are different. They call me back. They ask me WHEN I watched the tape. Being honest, I said, Today. They then said they are only interested in talking to people THE DAY AFTER they viewed the tape. WHY?? None of my answers on the questionnaires would change, as I was supposed to and did complete them today. I AM AFRAID TO GO TO SLEEP NOW. HAVE I BEEN SENT SUBLIMINAL BRAINWASHING MESSAGES IN THIS TAPE????? ARGH..... If I don't log into DU tomorrow, somebody see if I'm still alive!
