early nineties (after she and husband Bud Lee split up) that she was only doing girl/girl scenes. A lesbian couple who have been together for 50 years. In the 50's, they formed an organization, the Daughters of Bilitis, who helped pave the path for the gay rights movement as we know it today. They risked a lot then...being out about your sexual orientation was extremely tough.
