Last night on CBC it was no-holds barred. People just picking up dead toddlers from the street and putting them in trucks like litter. Footage of people struggling as they were swept out to sea. Stiff bodies with their arms sticking straight up and dead faces.
IT was awful.

Just waves crashing. We're too squeamish for real gore, you see.

2. CNN is showing much more than I though.. |
|
..I turned on the television today for the first time since the disaster on Sunday. CNN is showing the dead, including children, and the videos of people being swept away by the waters.

3. Usually the "reporter" tells you what you are about to see. A means to |
|
lesson the shock, I suppose. CBS had the makeshift morgue with the outstretched arms of victims. Parents clutching their dead children, trucks rolling by with piles of bodies and mass burials. Gruesome shots which are quickly replaced with scenes of rolling water.
Horrible.

|
real-time hair raising tsunami hitting coverage complete with people struggling, rows of the dead, parents carrying dead child.
