Went off line two weeks ago to clean my carpets (had to disconnect my cable modem etc)and somehow fried the modem and some of the cable company hardware. It would have only taken a couple of days to get things straightened out, but Cox Communications got everything all fouled up. Once they figured that out, they fixed things right away-- it just took two weeks for the different service divisions (or whatever they call themselves) to talk to one another. So what's this I hear about an earthquake...?
