I have received a picture of me standing with the next senator from Colo.
A picture of me with Ken Salazar. I got it in the mail today.

1. Things are looking up! Salazar spoke up right out of the gate.
He said he'd kick some ass if the Repukes tried to screw the Dems by eliminating the fillibuster. I don't see why other new Dem Senators don't do the same. Is Salazar a "shit-kicker"?

2. Yup. He took on the local Repukes on the redistricting matter
and won. The courts threw out the Repuke's attempt in gerrymandering.

3. Salazar's speaking up and strongly is the reason why I think he will
be more effective and useful in restoring the democratic party than Obama's accomodationist/DLC-directed approach. We need to give Salazar the kind of support necessary for him to rise to the top of the legislative group ASAP.

I'm afraid Richardson blew it demanding $1.4 million or whatever for the recount in NM. Who will trust him now? Besides he's too "establishment" oriented. I'm going to watch Salazar closely (I need a fantasy Senator since mine, Warner & Allen, suck!). Kick ass Ken!!!
