Anna Nicole Smith "stripped" of $88 million...

Just reported on Today show on NBC. An appeals court has reversed the ruling that awarded Anna Nicole Smith the $88 million dollar fortune of her deceased husband.

"What now, my love? Now that you've left me?"

I say, give that woman her money and leave her alone. The old geezer wouldn't have left it to her if he didn't want her to have it.

Maybe he was too old to cut the mustard, but I bet he licked the lid.

6. J Howard Marshall got what he wanted.

He earned his millions the hard way but his son (& stepson) never wanted for anything. They just wanted to live the quiet lives of Houston's really rich. It's not as if they really needed this last $88 million.

But his heirs had to hire lawyers, appear in court (like criminals) & be associated with this flashy ex-stripper. How vulgar! How common! The old man was probably laughing from the grave.

Why should the wife split the money with the stepchild? I'm sorry, the surviving spouse should inherit. Children and stepchildren should wait their turn. In the meantime, they should consider getting jobs like the rest of us.

No good precedent is set when spouses can be denied inheritance. Smith is not a very sympathetic character, but law should not be decided on whether or not the wife is like-able or deserving.

The stepchild wouldn't have liked Smith any better if she were old and ugly.

11. I'm no fan of Anna Nicole

However, I'm always annoyed by relatives who seem to feel they have some sort of divine right to their parents money. You know, the people who whine about their parents "spending my inheritance" - how crass and disgusting to count on money that you had no hand in making.

The old guy left it to her. She gave him what he wanted, he gave her what she wanted. I don't see a problem with that. Let the son earn his own damn money. She earned hers.
