How can I be happy AND pay attention to the news?
I don't think I can! I can't even read the other sections of DU, anymore, because my blood pressure goes through the roof! Should I remain ignorant and be happy? Or should I resign myself to a life of misery by keeping myself informed?

2. Unbelievable...I just flipped on the news for ONE SECOND and...
saw a story about a 94 year-old woman who won $5 million in the lottery and they won't let her get a lump sum - she'll be paid over 20 years.

I FUCKING HATE PEOPLE!
