When I had my EEG, they claimed I fell asleep... However, |
|
I know I was conscious all the time because I know when I get tired and I know that I feel icky when waking up from sleep.
Is it possible that my conscious mind could still have been at work, with other parts of the brain going to sleep?

1. Depends on what stage of sleep you were in.... was this a sleep study? |
|
If so, you should ask them to go over your results and explain the stages of sleep and proportion of time you spent in each-- both your results and what is "normal."

It's very restful, but you're certainly aware of your surroundings

looked fine.
I should have asked if the EEG had shown signs of ADD or anxiety issues as the doc was looking only for signs of erratic moments that would cause my leg to spasm. (pinched nerve in the neck)...

6. Good to hear the EEG results came back okay. |
|
BTW, my brother at age 32 was diagnosed with Adult ADD by a neuropsychiatrist and got on a medication that has really helped him, both at work and in his personal life (relationship-wise).
Sorry about the pinched nerve and the leg spasms--that sounds like it would hurt like hell.
Peace.
