We'll be in bed by 9:30....we're kind of the older generation.

I'm always on call New Years Eve to keep a taxi dispatching system running. I think I've worked every New Years Eve since about 1985, since I used to drive a taxi New Years Eve before this gig.

Bah Humbug! It's my least favorite night of the year!

At best, it will be a nice quiet evening home with my wife (which is a pretty good night). At worst, it will be a stomach churning nightmare involving a lot of typing and sweating (haven't had one that bad in years, though).

20. Season Two of Northern Exposure

It just came out on dvd and watching it tonight seems like a plan. That, and hanging out here for awhile.

but most of the people i know down here don't really go for the whole party thing (overly serious young artists). Last time I went to a New year's party, it was 2000, and I had to go to Columbus, OH to do it. It was a great party, but that's one hell of a commute from Orlando!

Oh well, at least I won't have to worry about hangovers, or driving home with all the drunks on the road...

thanking people I work with for their support, drinking tea, and leaving the TV watching with the spouse. NYE has never been anything wonderful to celebrate about. Shit, it's just another day.
