Poll question: Vote for your favorite double-sided BEATLES hit!

By "double-sided hit," I mean a 45 RPM whose A- and B-sides both went top twenty on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Dates refer to when the A-side debuted on the Hot 100.

PLEASE NOTE! This poll includes all nine of the U.S. Beatles singles in which both sides made the national pop top twenty. So please refrain from asking why your favorite Beatles 45 wasn't included. Thanks!

8. "Revolution" is my favorite late-period Beatles tune.

However, I got tired of "Hey Jude" about 20 years ago. As such, I with with "I Want To Hold Your Hand," for reasons similar to what you stated.

3. Penny Lane/Strawberry Fields!

Magical Mystery Tour is my favorite Beatles album in large part because of the inclusion of those two tracks.

I buried Paul.

EDIT: Another reason I pick those two is that none sum up the individual musical geniuses of Paul and John better. Penny Lane is the light-pop, easy-listening fun tune (Paul), while Strawberry Fields is moody with hidden meanings and intellectualism (John).

4. Yeah, MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR doesn't get much respect...

...but it's the only late-period Beatles album that I can listen to from start to finish.

I prefer the entire late-period of the Beatles (Sgt. Pepper to Let it Be), but Magical Mystery Tour and Abbey Road just resonate with me more than Pepper or the White Album.

But the TV special sucked big time.

I'm still very fond of Yellow Submarine.

Together/Something was better musically. 1967 was my Summer of Love though-lol.

It's the 45 that got the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show.

"I want to hold her hand"/"When I saw her standing there".
