One of my Xmas Gitfts was "Simply Red's Greatist Hits." Any fans of his?

I might have missed posts here in "Lounge" about him...

But...I really like him...and am a huge fan of all 80's Music....because I think it was the last REAL music before Clear Channel and the rest corrupted it.

The "Sounds of the 80's were Great..to me..and I'm not an 80's Generation...but I loved the sound and voice of those in the 80's for what they tried to say through the "Pop" restrictions.

Anyone else? SEE what the 80's tried to tell us? Even through your "fog" of "Cutting edge???"
