21. Suggestions

Go slow. Take if off down to 1/2 inch with scissors, then down to 1/16" with electric razor then last bit with a double or triple edge razor.

Have a hot bath first, and take it slow.

DO NOT USE SHAVING CREAM OR AFTERSHAVE.

A little bit of bleeding is normal. Put a cold washcloth on it.

It will cause a rash at first. Get over it.

22. advice

soak the boys in warm water beforehand to get em loosened up. For a delicate procedure such as this it is far better to have saggy scrote than scrunchy scrote. nicks are inevitable, beware that they bleed extensively and under no circumstances should you apply aftershave. Prepare for an itchy few days, become a master of covert pocket pool. Finally, a shorn scrotum is interesting and fun at first but overall I do not recommend. An unkempt ballsack is one less thing to worry about keeping tidy, and that itself is beautiful

...did my own depilatory prep for my vasectomy. I used the same brand I use on my face: Bic disposable for sensitive skin (yellow handle). I liked the hairless feeling so much, I keep it hairless all the time now. Mrs. Amok prefers it this way, too, I suspect (although she'd never say). Once a week in the shower is all it takes, with said Bic and Edge shaving foam with aloe. I've become so deft at the Big Shave, I can do it in under a minute, with no nicks or cuts. Just like my face, I never use the same blade twice. Why risk it?!
