Color me unimpressed. The national championship will be decided tomorrow night, and Auburn should be happy with number 2.

1. What you said! Jeez.

edit: Auburn was crowned in the top 5 in 2003 and USC beat them at the start of that season. USC has since gotten better (even after losing the No. 1 college player - Mike Williams). Not impressed much with Auburn.

2. Auburn's Got a Good Defense
Very good team speed. Truly Impressive linebackers.

I didn't see much on the offensive side that impressed me. I'd say U$C kicks Auburn's ass. Hey, they did that already, last year, right?

3. i agree
auburn needed to beat virgina tech by 50 to have a chance at being #1. 16-13 will not get it done. they did have an awesome year though. undefeated. maybe someday we will have a play-off system?

4. And that tubby hypocrite, Terry Bowden
All of a sudden is interested in a national playoff -- of course, this year it was an SEC team getting screwed, not a Pac-10 team. Now Terry's saying that a playoff might not be a bad idea.

Twerp.

5. Could hardly stay interested in this one...
Auburn might have put too much pressure on themselves to win big. Anyway, going undefeated in the SEC is still a hell of a year. Congrats to the Tigers and Coach Tubberville.

Is it just me, or is Terry Bowden actually shrinking? He seems to look shorter and fatter every season. Whatever the case, he definitely becomes more annoying every year.
