have a radio station play a certain Tony Orlando song (as in Tie A Yellow Ribbon) and get people to contribute money to make them stop.
On edit Maybe Yoko Ono songs would also work just as well.

1. I threatened our listeners that I would play Ethel Merman |
|
songs on my blues show on our community radio station if they didn't reach our hourly goals.
We tripled our goal.

2. Had the tsunami happened BEFORE Christmas maybe "Grandma got ran over by a |
|
reindeer" would have been a possibility.

3. Lots of money has already been raised. |
|
Agree, Yoko and Tony might turn the effort ON if they are turned off!

4. I thought people would be so annoyed by songs of that sort that they would |
|
willingly donate money to make any radio station stop and maybe another possiblility for the "hit parade" would be "Pop Muzik" by M.

5. I don't think we or anyone needs to annoy anyone to |
|
donate to the tsunami efforts. It is so tragic that it isn't taking much for us to do what we can.
