When I am taking long trips and am bored. I used to sing it to my daughter when I brought her back to moms, but she is too old to be amused now days.

7. .....
When no one's around? I don't sing when I masturbate.

Does that imply that whenever I'm alone I masturbate? No. It declares it. I'll say it right now, straight up. Whenever I am alone, or even if no one is looking, I smack the shellfish. Got it? Good.

10. "Down in the Depths on the 90th Floor" by Cole Porter
and I kick some serious ass at it, too.

With a million neon rainbows burning below me,
And a million blazing taxis raising a roar,
Here I sit, above the town,
In my pet-paillated gown,
Down in the depths
of the ninetieth floor.
While the crowds in all the nightclubs punish the parquet,
And the bars are packed with couples calling for more,
I'm deserted and depressed
In my regal-eagle nest,
Down in the depths
of the ninetieth floor.
When the only one you wanted wants another,
What's the use of swank and cash in the bank galore?
Why, even the janitor's wife
Has a perfectly good love life,
And here I am, facing tomorrow,
Alone in my sorrow,
Down in the depths
of the ninetieth floor.

See, ya gotta taste the lyrics as you sing them. Of course, if you really want to enjoy the song, ya gotta hear Ethel Merman or Ella do it.

13. Songs from South Pacific, My Fair Lady, The King and I...
South Pacific: Cock-Eyed Optimist or Happy Talk
My Fair Lady: Little bit o' Luck or Wouldn't It be Lovely
The King and I: Getting to know you
I know, BORING! But it's one of my guilty pleasures.

14. Whatever seems appropriate at the time
This afternoon I sang a bit at home to warm up for singing evensong with the choir, but it was all choir music, past and present.

When not in choir mood, I have been known to sing "Higher and Higher," "We're Saving Ourselves for Yale," a Russian folksong called "Uzh ty Vanya," my Japanese karaoke number ("Namida no Sanbashi," one of the greatest hits of 1977), obscure pop songs from my high school years ("Oscar Crunch has gone to join the zoo (zoo-zoo-zoo)"), show tunes, or whatever else comes into my head.

15. Tempted by Squeeze
Anyone remember them? I was actually alone for a little while in the car yesterday, and all I could do was belt this one out as people look at me like I'm a crazy lady.
