Not too deep, not too icy, just lovely big gentle snowflakes peacefully falling and staying a day or two.

Which means that people will should start turning off their brains about the time the first flakes start to fall. Something about snow makes PNWers go pure-D batshit. Is there any other part of the country where people will just get out of their cars and leave them on the road when they can't go any further? I'm not saying they push them off to the side -- I'm saying they just leave the car in the middle of the road, four lane or highway.
