FOUR rare kittens are going on the market with a price tag of up to £80,000 each.
The Bengal kittens have an Asian Leopard Cat as their father and as a result are said to be extremely sought after.
The three females and one male, owned by Frank and Pauline Turnock of Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, are F1 cats — the first generation removed from wild blood. Their mother is Bengal Cat Zamba and their father is Apollo, a pure Asian Leopard which the couple bought from Lord Esmond Gay, a leading breeder.
Apollo is one of only five breeding Asian Leopards in the world, making the seven-week old kittens very rare and part of a brand new bloodline.
Mr Turnock, 61, who spent years breeding pedigree cattle and sheep before moving on to felines, said: “These kittens, there is nothing like this. We do not want to sell the females in Britain. If we did, everyone would have what we have.
