Personally I prefer real people. With all their character and supposed flaws. I once heard beauty described as absense of defect. This strikes me as absense of individuality. I would rather know a person for the things that are different.

Anyone who's been through that can tell you that the battle takes a toll on your skin. No matter how good the products, they can still dry out your skin, especially during a breakout. Theatrical makeup only makes it worse.

I'm guessing she was just having a bad skin day. I've seen candid shots of her where she looks fantastic, others where she looks great. I'd hate it if someone were shoving a camera in my face 24/7, then judging me on the results.
