With Will Ferrell as San Diego News anchor in the 70's. Its corny, raunchy and somewhat dated. Remember plaid jackets and colored suits? Anyone her see it yet?

The music was great as well as the 70's references and San Diego landmarks.
The bit roles by Vince Vaughn, Ben Stiller, Luke Wilson and Tim Robbins were unexpected and amusing.
Great flick!

|
I watched it at home this weekend though with my dad and he pointed him out. I thought the epilogue was funny too, the sportsguy gets fired from fox sports for sexually harassing terry bradshaw and steve carrell is now a key figure in the bush white house.

|
I remember one of my dad's leisure suits was kind of a dark maroon color, with white topstitching. It went right along with those wide lapels and wiiiiide ties.

20. Dad would come home from work, circa 1973, with his Leisure suit |
|
and I would wisk my friendsout of the area so they wouldnt see it. Dad died in 2000 and I went back home to help mom clear out his old stuff and guess what I found in his closet? The light blue leisure suit. It made me cry and laugh at the same time.

BTW, when a Panda does give birth at the San Diego Zoo, it is a huge media event like it was portrayed in Anchorman.
