And if you did, are you still married to that person?
Regardless if you are or not, how old were you when you got married? How long did you know the person?
I was 19 when I met my husband. He was 22.
I was 21 and one month when I got married. He was almost 24.
I had known him exactly 17 months the day we got married (but he was overseas for six of those months).
We are still married 13 years later.

you guys just waited longer than we did to marry.
I know, I can't BELIEVE I was getting married at 21. What the hell was I thinking? Oh well, I'm happy, he's great.

and got married almost exactly 2 years later at 21 (almost 22). We married the day we graduated college so it didn't feel young then (and I was one of the last in my HS class to get married). That was in the mid 1990s and we're still together and have 2 kids.
In many ways it feels like yesterday and in many ways it feels like forever ago.
I look back and think I must have been young, but I can't "feel" it.

14. No, I'm not your former sister-in-law |
|
although my ex's brother dumped HIS wife when she was pregnant with their second child for the babysitter! She came home from work one day and he and the babysitter had packed her and the first child's clothes and moved her back to her mother's house that night! Then he and the b*tch essentially complained about having to pay child support for the next 18 years. Classless bunch of boobs.
Oh, my God - my life is the plot of a really bad soap opera. They all deserve each other.

I met my husband when I was 18 and he was 20. We were friends for two years before we actually "dated". I was 21 years and 1 month old and he was 23 years and 5 months old when we got married in 1966. 38 years later we're still married. Go figure! :D

10. My sister and her husband |
|
she was 17 when they got married; he was 23. They eloped, as my father hated him. It's been 34 years for them; 2 kids and 3 grandkids later, they're still very happy.
And my dad adores him now.

I had just graduated HS when I first met him. I attended a very strict private school where you had no social outlets. He was the wild and crazy guy I was craving.
He ran off with a MUCH younger bimbo recently.
