3. The song is SO BAD to start with, her voice was washed out...

Her dad was prolly like, I don't care if most singers choose to lip-sync/play a supporting track (at big events, not small ones like SNL, duh)--Ashlee has to prove she can do it!

I didn't catch the whole song, but in the clip you can barely hear her because of the music. And the song itself grates so on the nerves I literally scream when I pass it in video rotation. The song is inane and irritating.

She really had no chance going in.
